Public Invite: Bruce Shelley on How to Make Successful Games
The U.S. game designer Bruce Shelley is holding a lecture at InnoGames on November 15, and the game development company has invited the public to take part at its Hamburg headquarters.
Shelley plans to discuss “Guidelines for developing successful games.” Cost for participation is free for all – and those who would like to attend can register at shelley.innogames.com before November 11. Shelley currently acts as a consultant for InnoGames on an upcoming cross-platform strategy game.
“We are thrilled to have Bruce, with his vast experience, on board as a consultant. He is currently providing us with valuable input for the development of an upcoming title. We’d like to give all our employees and the general public the opportunity to get to know Bruce personally and benefit from his knowledge about game design as well,” explained Eike Klindworth, InnoGames Chief Creative Officer.
Shelley is regarded as one of the most successful game designer of all time. He contributed to classic games such as Age of Empires, and Sid Meier's Civilization and Railroad Tycoon. Gamespy named him one of the eight most influential people in the games industry, and PC Gamer called him simply “a god”.
