Game

Street Racers is browser-based multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). You will be racing against other racers, participate in tournaments, buy and sell cars and their parts.

All the cars and car parts in this game are modelled in 3D and nicely rendered. There's no upper limit on what level you can be, you grow as much as you want and there's nobody there to stop you from doing that.

New cars and car parts are constantly being added to the game.

Story

After sun goes down, street racers come to streets of the city. They are racing each other, taking part in illegal tournaments.

There are racer gangs, so called Clubs. To join a club, you must first win some tournaments. Clubs have members-only racing zones. Every club sends their best racers to the club zone to take part in tournaments and win prizes, money and glory.

Starting

Just register, login, choose your in-game name and you're all set to start racing others!

Of course you can do just that, but you should first go to your garage and check what's under the hood of your main car. Oh what a surprise! There's only an engine and brakes, but how about some tyres and stuff? Well, lucky you have those euros right on start. Go ahead and spend them on the right things!

You can buy parts for your car on the market or you can go to the car dealer. The latter will usually be more expensive, but you don't need to worry about wear-out factor here as the parts are all brand new. On the other hand, if you're prepared to spend some time and effort, you can get things cheaper and probably even as good as new.

Shopping

You should know couple of things before going out shopping for parts.

First - always check for the levels of your cars and parts. That's because a specific part only fits to some range of cars by the level. So if you buy a part that says "Level: 2-4" make sure you have a car which is of the level 2, 3 or 4, otherwise you won't be able to use your purchase.

Second - car dealers and markets are separate by location, so if there's nothing in Snoozville, that doesn't say anything about the other cities, go travel to them and check their markets and car dealers.

Third - car dealers don't always have all the parts that would be available to you, the new shipments come in time to time sou you should check later if there's nothing for you now.

Fourth - the parts affect performance of your car in ways, that are specified in part's parameters. Choose the ones, that improve your car's parameters in the best ways possible, don't just get the highest by the level.

Racing

As soon as you have a decent car, you should start participating in tournaments to gain some silver cups. You will need those later, when you want to join a club or make a trade.

Don't worry about the stronger players too much, in tournaments you participate together with those of similar experience to you. Players with higher levels and better cars can only participate in more expensive tournaments, so the cheapest one is always a safe bet, but you never know if you win when the stakes are higher until you try.

In each city you can see some people you can challenge to see who is a better driver or has a better car. That also gives you experience so feel free.

Energy

When racing and traveling you use some energy and that affects how good a driver are you. When you're relaxed you naturally drive a bit better than you are when tired to death.

To re-gain your energy you have to wait for some period of time without traveling or racing (don't worry about others racing with you, that doesn't affect your energy level).

In case you don't want to wait, theres another way to regain your powers! Go to the chemist and ask for a relaxation pill. That, of course, will cost you some money, but it is instant and no waiting is required.

Money

Speaking of money, where do you get that? Well, for that there's agency. Go there and get some task. After you do the task, you'll get the amount of money specified and sometimes even some additional prizes!

But don't forget that you can earn money the easy way - by taking part in tournaments. Of course you can loose your money that way too, but that's the fun part, right?

When you get to a higher level there will also be contracts available for you to sign. You will find those in agency.

Oh and remember the market? Well, guess what, the cars and parts in there are from other players, so you can put unneeded parts and cars there too. You specify the price, but depending on if it's cheap or expensive or if someone badly needs it and is unable to find it anywhere else, you can make some money there. Things stay in market for couple of days and if they are not sold in that time they come back to you and you can then put them back again if you wish.

For some fast money you can sell your parts at recycling. It doesn't get you as much money as market, but it gets the money fast and there are times when that's important.

For other ways of getting money you should also check the bank.

Clubs

Are you an established racer already? Well, then it is time for you to join a club! Find one you would like to join and message the club leader asking them to invite you. Afterwards just go to your club section and accept the invitation that is most suitable for you.

Being a club member opens up a whole new world of team racing in club zones to you. From now on you will team up with your club pals and try to beat all the other clubs to get gold cups for your club and win awesome prizes.

But that's not all! Clubs can also declare wars to each other. In that case, every race you win against the member of another club, gets your club a gold cup, but if you loose - your club looses one cup. Wars bring in a whole lot of excitement into the game and hopefully quite some gold cups to your club.

Specialities

After reaching certain amount of silver cups, you get to choose your own speciality. You can be one of 3: Racer, Forcer or Mechanic.

Being a mechanic lets you fix used parts for free. That of course comes with a risk of damaging the part, but it depends on how good at it you are.

Being a forcer means you can force normal parts. That way the performance gets unusually high for that part, but after it is used it is no longer fixable.

Racers only get some additional skill points to spread over their skills so they will probably be better at racing others.

Being a forcer or a mechanic means you can sell your services to others. That way you will not only earn money, but you will also be invited to bigger clubs who will need your services.
